As AI sparks fears of mass job loss, Google is aiming to bridge the gap. CEO Sundar Pichai announced the massive $120 million fund to expand programs like Grow with Google. This initiative equips workers with technical skills, including data analysis and IT support, to boost their career prospects. Already, over 1 million people have earned certificates through the program, which now includes AI-focused courses, such as those tailored for educators.

One such example is Google’s partnership with colleges for the “Skilled Trades and Readiness” program, which trains workers for roles like constructing data centers while integrating AI learning.
