Yemen Strikes Israel’s Ben Gurion Airport with Ballistic Missiles Amid Gaza Conflict

In a bold and unprecedented move, Yemen’s Armed Forces have launched a ballistic missile strike on Israel’s Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv. The attack, confirmed by Yemeni military spokesperson Yahya Saree, is the latest escalation in Yemen’s ongoing campaign of support for Palestine.

A Direct Strike on Israel

According to Saree, the Yemeni Armed Forces successfully targeted Ben Gurion Airport using Zolfaqar missiles. He emphasized that this operation was a direct response to Israeli aggression in Gaza and a demonstration of Yemen’s commitment to supporting the Palestinian cause.

“By carrying out this operation, we proved that the US has failed to prevent Yemen from supporting the oppressed Palestinian people,” Saree declared.

He also dismissed American attempts to deter Yemen’s military actions, stating that US airstrikes would not stop their mission. “American airstrikes do not prevent us from fulfilling our religious, moral, and human duties,” he added.

Continued Operations Against Israel

Saree further vowed that Yemen would continue targeting Israeli sites until the siege and military assault on Gaza come to an end. “With the help of God Almighty, we will continue the anti-Zionist operations until the aggression and siege against the Gaza Strip stop,” he affirmed.

Since October 7, when Palestinian resistance movements launched Operation Al-Aqsa Storm against Israeli forces, Yemen has openly supported Palestine. The operation was a retaliation for years of Israeli occupation and military actions against Palestinians. In response, Israel has waged an all-out war on Gaza, leading to thousands of casualties and a humanitarian crisis.

Escalating Regional Tensions

The missile attack on Ben Gurion Airport marks a significant escalation in the broader Middle East conflict. It signals Yemen’s determination to challenge Israel and its Western allies, particularly the United States. Washington has previously launched airstrikes against Yemeni military positions in an attempt to curb their attacks, but Yemen’s leadership remains defiant.

This latest strike could further destabilize the region, drawing in more players into an already volatile conflict. If Yemen continues its military operations against Israel, it could provoke a harsher response from both Tel Aviv and its allies.

What’s Next?

With Yemen’s Armed Forces vowing to persist in their attacks, the situation remains unpredictable. Whether Israel or its Western allies will retaliate remains to be seen, but one thing is clear: the battle lines in the Middle East have shifted dramatically.

As events unfold, the world watches closely to see how this growing conflict will shape the region’s future.
